Understanding Business Concerns

After I started focusing more on business, it became very obvious to me that I needed to go through and focus on understanding business concerns. I started paying attention to the kinds of concerns that people dealt with on a daily basis in business, and collecting articles that would help people to resolve their challenges. It hasn't been easy to create a massive website filled with great information for business owners, but after a lot of trial and error I am finally finished with the blog. Check out this website for great tips and tricks on business and how to identify and resolve problems.

Think A Staff Member Is Wandering The Building After Hours? What To Know

If you have the weird feeling that someone has been in your work office when you aren't there or that someone is in the office overnight, there are some things that you want to change around the space. You want to be sure that as the property owner and business owner you know everything that is going on and that your building is safe. Here are some of the things that you should get started and ways that you can improve the property to give you some peace of mind.

Change All Locks

Don't tell anyone what you are doing and have this done after hours. Call a commercial locksmith and have them change out and update all of the locks throughout the building once all employees have left. If you don't currently have lock on your office door, then have one added at this time. Minimize the amount of people that have access to the pass codes immediately or that have keys, so you can hopefully eliminate who has been trying to get in or who has been in the building after hours.

Install Motion Sensor Cameras

Motion cameras that record when the sensors are activated have become very affordable. Some places you will want to put these include:

  • Towards the parking lot
  • In the entrances of the building
  • In the main area where everyone has to walk
  • Near any safes
  • By your office

You will get an alert on your phone to notify you if these are triggered after hours when someone isn't supposed to be in or around the building.

Send Out a Policy Notification

You don't want to threaten any of your employees, so send out a policy notification letting them know that anyone caught inside of the building without granted access will be terminated. If this isn't enough to keep them out, they will be caught when they try to get in with the new locks and the cameras.

Sometimes as a business owner it can be easy to give a few people your access codes to the building when they have to get something that they forgot, or when you don't feel like getting in as early as they want to be at work. This is something that can't be done because it leaves the business open to theft, damage, and more. Talk with a commercial locksmith and make these different changes throughout your commercial property to prevent more problems.
